The Role of SA IMET
SA IMET and the Department of Health recognise that a significant number of prevocational doctors in the South Australian hospital workforce are International Medical Graduates (IMGs) and it is essential that resources be provided to support their education and training and orientation to the Australian health care system as well as provide advise and assistance to complete the AMC pathway to full registration.
The IMG Subcommittee exists to help enhance the workplace experience of AMC Doctors working SA hospitals and to promote their career development in the Australian Health System.
