Trainee in Difficulty: a handbook for Directors of Clinical Training
Overview
This handbook has been produced with the cooperative effort of many people. It has been adapted from "Trainee in Difficulty: a handbook for Directors of Prevocational Education and Training" produced in 2009 by the NSW Institute of Medical Education and Training.
SA IMET is grateful to NSW IMET for producing the key elements of this handbook and allowing SA IMET to adapt it to the South Australian document. The handbook provides many useful approaches and resources to support supervisors in management of trainees in difficulty, thereby improving outcomes.
