Online applications for medical intern appointment in a South Australian hospital in 2011 will open on Saturday 22nd May 2010, please see below for instructions and links to application forms. Applications close on 18 June 2010. Before you apply online please ensure you have the following documents ready (if they apply to you).
- All applicants must provide a copy of their Curriculum Vitae (no more than 4 pages) which includes a paragraph outlining their Career Objectives/Goals (the purpose of providing a CV is for the interest of the employing hospital only).
- Permanent Residents of Australia/New Zealand and international students not studying at a South Australian University are required to attach a copy of their academic transcript for the 18 months prior to this application.
- If you are an international student you must provide a scanned copy of your visa.
- If you are applying for a 'Couple Application' you must provide a scanned copy of a jointly signed letter stating that you are seeking a joint placement.
- If you are applying for 'Special Consideration' please provide a scanned copy of your letter of support from the Dean of the Medical School at your University.
Notification of intent to withdraw from medical intern appointment in South Australia for positions in 2011
If you complete an application form and later accept a position elsewhere or decide not to accept an internship in South Australia for 2011, you must complete a 'Notification of Intent to Withdraw from Medical Intern Appointments in South Australia for positions in 2011' form and forward this to:
