Eligibility
Those eligible to apply in 2010 for internship in South Australia commencing in 2011 are:
- Graduates of medical faculties in Australia who are permanent residents of Australia and graduated in either 2008, 2009 or 2010.
- Graduates of New Zealand Universities who are permanent residents of Australia/New Zealand and graduated in either 2008, 2009 or 2010.
- Graduates of medical faculties in Australia or New Zealand who are not permanent residents of Australia or New Zealand (international students) but who are permitted to remain in Australia for their internship and graduated in either 2008, 2009 or 2010.
If you do not fall into any of the above categories, you are not eligible to undertake an internship in SA.
Please note:
International graduates from a New Zealand University will need to seek advice from the Immigration Department as soon as possible due to lengthy and varying visa complications that are known to arise.
