Internship – Introduction

The intern year is your year of 'limited registration' after you have finished your medical degree.

We provide an accredited continuing medical education and prevocational training and combine this with clinical and service responsibilities under supervision.

You are then well placed to gain full registration with the Medical Board and follow your career aspirations. You will be equipped to provide a highly valued service to the units within the teaching hospitals and to the community.
